Green Dining Table, Inc. recalls frozen pork meatballs due to improper branding and undeclared allergens

WASHINGTON, July 16, 2021 – Green Dining Table, Inc., an Alhambra, Calif., Facility is recalling approximately 183,330 pounds of frozen pork meatballs due to poor branding and undeclared allergens, announced today hui the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the United States Department of Agriculture. The product contains milk and coconut, known allergens, which are not declared on the product label.

The frozen pork meatballs were produced between March 22, 2021 and July 14, 2021. The following products are being recalled [view labels here]:

  • 1.5 lbs plastic bag packages containing “HanSang GYOZA, PORK AND VEGETABLES” and are selling on dates ranging from 3.23.2023 to 7.14.2023.
  • 1.5 lbs plastic bag packages containing “HanSang, PORK & VEGETABLE BAKEBALLS” and sell on dates from 3.23.2023 to 7.14.2023.
  • 1.5 lb plastic bag packaging containing “HanSang CRISPY DUPLINGS, PORC & VEGETABLE” and sold by dates from 3.23.2023 to 7.14.2023.
  • 1.8 lbs plastic bag packages containing “ChoripDong KIMCHI DAMPLING WITH PORC” and are selling on dates ranging from 3.23.2023 to 7.14.2023.
  • 1.8 lb plastic bag wrappers containing “ChoripDong PORK AND VEGETABLE PELLETS” and are selling on dates ranging from 3.23.2023 to 7.14.2023.
  • 4.4 lbs plastic bag packaging containing “PAIK’S NOODLE Pork and Vegetable Meatballs” and sell on dates ranging from 3.23.2023 to 7.14.2023.

The recalled products bear the establishment number “EST. 45556 “inside the USDA inspection mark. These items were shipped to wholesalers in California, New Jersey, New York and Washington and then distributed to retailers. Some products were also exported to Canada .

The problem was discovered during FSIS’s routine factory verification activities, during which FSIS discovered that milk and coconut ingredients were not listed on product labels.

There have been no confirmed reports of side effects from the consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a health care provider.

FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumer freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products must be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.

FSIS regularly performs recall effectiveness checks to verify that recalling companies notify their customers of the recall and that action is taken to ensure the product is no longer available to consumers. Retail distribution lists will be posted on the FSIS website at www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls.
