TECH DATA OFFERS EVEN MORE COMPETITIVE TRADE-IN OPTIONS ON ENTERPRISE AND INFRASTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT; Attractive trade-in offers on leading-brand data center and infrastructure equipment help partners help end-user customers strike the right balance between reuse and recycling

BasingstokeTechnical data (, a TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX), enables partners to offer their end-user customers even more attractive take-back options for assured recycling and asset disposal of data center and infrastructure products.

The extended offer is the result of new partnership agreements with specialized third-party suppliers. It covers major industry brands such as HPE, IBMNetApp and other well-known enterprise vendors.

Marc Glasspoolservice manager, UK and Irelandat Technical data, said: Improving sustainability to achieve net-zero carbon goals is on everyone’s agenda. Recycling and reusing IT equipment is attracting considerable interest, and with the wide range of options we are launching, our partners can help their customers even more.

We can work with partners to enable end-user customers to extend the lifecycle of their IT products and find truly competitive recovery options when they need to update or refresh their infrastructure. By doing so, partners can get a better return on their investments while making progress toward their sustainability goals.

Thanks to its extensive partnerships, Technical data now has a greater capacity for recycling and refurbishing services. All IT equipment, from servers to smartphones, can now be traded in or handed over for safe and sustainable recycling or refurbishment in accordance with all government and industry standards.

The Tech Datas program enables partners to offer end-user customers a simple way to trade in old or end-of-life products for refurbishment or recycling, with all components and materials disposed of properly and in accordance with environmental standards recognized. It also allows the customer to recover money on their old IT equipment and devices, which they may be able to use on new systems and solutions.

On the other side Europe, Technical data takes over 90,000 items to exchange or refurbish in an average month.
