The American Marketing Association recognizes March of Dimes Chief Marketing Officer Cindy Rahman as the 2022 National Nonprofit Marketer of the Year

The award adds to industry accolades received by March of Dimes’ marketing department recognizing outstanding work in creative video, integrated campaigns and more

ARLINGTON, Va., August 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — March of Dimes is delighted to announce its recognition in more than a dozen marketing and communications industry awards in 2022 recognizing outstanding leadership in public relations, as well as hard work in creative video production, developing integrated campaigns and more. More recently, Cindy Rahman, MBA, senior vice president and chief marketing officer, was named National Nonprofit Marketer of the Year by the American Marketing Association (AMA). As part of the recognition, Rahman will participate in a panel discussion on August 24, 2022 at the AMA’s Virtual Conference on Nonprofit and Cause Marketing.

Earlier this year, Christine Sanchez, Senior Director of Public Relations and Communications at March of Dimes was recognized as a finalist for Women to Watch Public Relations Week where she attended and participated in a panel discussion. In addition, the marketing department has been honored with the Hermes Creative Awards by receiving a Platinum Award for the 2021 Unspoken PSA and 2021 Prematurity Awareness Month campaign and a Hermes Creative Gold Award for the 2020 annual report. The marketing video team has also was honored with the Viddy Platinum Awards as Achievement for Unspoken Public Service Announcement.

Rahman was selected for her work in transforming March of Dimes’ marketing department into a full-service team and a valuable partner in achieving the organization’s mission internally and among external stakeholders using insights on audience and data-driven decision making.
